About the Role
This role drives execution of large-scale, cross-platform initiatives across multiple engineering and analytics organizations within the Legal vertical at Internet Brands. avvo.com, martindale.com, nolo.com, findlaw.com .
You will lead delivery across Data Engineering, Product Engineering, BI/Analytics, System Engineering, and NOC—where shared infrastructure, legacy systems, and evolving platforms create complex, interdependent challenges. This is a hands-on execution role focused on planning, coordination, and delivery across teams with distributed ownership and competing priorities.

What You’ll Do:
- Must have a hands-on Data Engineering and/or Data Analytics background, with experience transitioning into Project/Program Management.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team projects (scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, business impact)
- Build and manage detailed project plans, ensuring alignment on sequencing, capacity, delivery commitments, and downstream reporting needs
- Coordinate with Product Managers to align workstreams to roadmap priorities
- Lead large-scale platform, data, and analytics migrations across data, application, reporting, and infrastructure layers
- Coordinate across engineering teams (data, platform, application, BI, analytics) to manage dependencies, cutover readiness, and downstream impact
- Drive day-to-day execution across concurrent workstreams, ensuring delivery against committed timelines
- Facilitate sprint planning, status meetings, and retrospectives with engineering teams
- Identify blockers and risks early; escalate with context and a recommended path forward
- Partner with BI and analytics stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPI definitions, dashboard needs, and validation criteria
- Identify and remove blockers, manage risks, and escalate as needed to maintain momentum
- Ensure continuity of systems, data flows, and business reporting through migrations, upgrades, and platform changes
- Communicate progress, risks, mitigation plans, and business impacts clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Support alignment around data definitions, metric governance, and reporting consistency across teams and consumers
- Adopt and apply AI tools (Claude, Gemini, or similar) to reduce manual overhead; status drafting, meeting summaries, risk flagging
- Learn and use no-code/low-code automation platforms (e.g., Dify) to streamline PMO workflows
- Contribute ideas and findings from your own work back to the broader team
- Support rollout and training of new AI workflows as they are developed
What You’ll Bring:
- BS/BA degree required, preferably in computer science or technical disciplines
- 7+ years of project/program management experience in platform, infrastructure, data, BI, or analytics-intensive environments
- Proven track record delivering complex projects across multiple engineering, analytics, and business stakeholder groups
- Experience managing large-scale migrations or platform transformations (data, infrastructure, reporting, or application layers)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, pipelines, services), and BI/reporting ecosystems
- Ability to manage dependencies across shared platforms with multiple downstream consumers, including dashboards and analytical datasets
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive alignment across competing priorities
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with evolving scope and priorities
- Experience coordinating validation of data quality, reporting accuracy, and KPI consistency
Nice to Have:
- Experience with infrastructure/platform programs (cluster migrations, upgrades, system modernization)
- Experience with big data and modern data platforms (Hadoop, Snowflake, Doris, Vertica, etc.)
- Experience working with digital publishing platforms (WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager)
- 3+ years of project management experience in a software development environment, working with geographically distributed teams
- 3+ years of hands-on Agile/Scrum experience — you have run sprints, not just observed them
- Strong understanding of the full SDLC and how PM processes map to engineering execution
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration and data pipelines (Airflow, dbt, Informatica, Pentaho)
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams with structured prioritization
- Experience with project tracking tools — specifically YouTrack and/or JIRA; Airtable or similar strongly preferred
- Exposure to both cloud and on-prem platforms
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Experience modernizing BI environments, including dashboard migrations or reporting consolidation
- Familiarity with semantic layers, metrics layers, dimensional modeling, or governed reporting models
- Familiarity with data governance, lineage, or compliance initiatives
- Experience supporting self-service analytics, executive dashboards, or operational reporting
